    Admin Response

Use Customise Columns to add the Resource Appearance Profiles column to the Gantt table. This column is read-only and lists all the Resource Appearance Profiles used by any of the Resources assigned to the task.
Appearance Profiles are assigned to individual resources assignments on individual tasks, not to the task itself - in other words, not all Resources assigned to a task need to have the same Resource Appearance Profile.

Additionally, you may view this information in the Task Usage Spreadsheet or Resource Usage Spreadsheet by adding the "Appearance Profile" column

We will add a new column to tasks for this, allowing you to see what RAPs are in use. Thanks for the great suggestion!

Hi @Greg, thanks for adding this as a new feature.

Quick one; For every individual activity, It is possible to change the RAP column from a fixed value to a "Drop down Menu" type?

The RAP column is read-only and lists all the Resource Appearance Profiles used by any of the Resources assigned to the task.
Appearance Profiles are assigned to individual resources assignments on individual tasks, not to the task itself - in other words, not all Resources assigned to a task need to have the same Resource Appearance Profile.

Since the column can contain a list of different Profiles used by different resources, it cannot be changed to a drop down menu

If you want to change the Profile used by all resources on the task simultaneously, do the following:

Select the task(s) which you wish to change the Profile for all resources and then right click to "Select Assigned Resources"

Alternatively, if you need to do this for a lot of different tasks with different Profiles: from the Fast Options toolbar, change the final drop-down for Task selection mode to "Tasks with Assignments" - this will select all assigned resources when you select a Task in the Gantt window

In Task Properties>Resources, change the Appearance Profile to the desired value - a dialog will be raised asking if you wish to do this for all assigned resources on all selected tasks. Select Yes
