    Admin Response

If Synchro crashes and you receive this error, please click Yes to send the crash report to our team. Your report helps us investigate the software issue that has caused the system to crash.  Our investigations into your specific crash helps us create a better product.

The 2 biggest causes of Synchro crashing are due to graphics on the user's machine and the resolutions are below:

    1. Intel integrated graphics is used when NVIDIA or ATI dedicated graphics card is available. This is especially true for laptops- primary graphics should be switched to dedicated NVIDIA or ATI graphics card (Your company's IT Department may need to be involved depending on your company's IT policy).

    1. NVIDIA driver of version 9.18.13.2xxx. Graphics driver should be updated to latest version from NVIDIA website (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx).

While we investigate the issues described in your system dump file on our end, we ask that you check your software versions, software configuration, video drivers and hardware specification are compliant with our minimum requirements.

To check your system profile, launch Synchro PRO and go to Help>About>System and compare your setup to our minimum requirements

In addition to making sure that you are using the latest version of Synchro PRO and that your system meets the minimum specification please use the following check list to help lower your memory demand which often leads to system failures.

To check your system profile launch the Synchro PRO and go to the Home>Options menu and work through the following system settings

    -  Use OpenGL, since DirectX has additional memory expenses

    -  Turn off anti-aliasing

    -  Turn on detailed reduction and turn off static model (it increases memory expenses approximately twice, but has no sense with detailed reduction)

    -  Set the size of small objects to be culled to 5 at least, or even 10

    -  If the model has no transparent details turn off transparency (if there are transparent details please use fast emulation with huge models)

    -  Turn off video effects (with OpenGL 1 they will be turned off automatically)

My computer has install memory 8GB. So it means that this computer could not be used for the installation, correct? However, I have activated my license and now I could not make it inactivated and change to another computer. Cry face....
