Getting an app crash and have Synchro set to Open GL and have dedicated video card but not sure of the correct setting for using this card is ? any help/advice would be greatly appreciated
whilst my card is different i too was experiencing regular Application crashes a while ago.
I'm running an NVIDIA Quadro K5100M, after tinkering around with the settings i did the following;
Go to Home > Options > 3D View > Advanced > Driver and make sure the 3D View Mode is set to;1. Planning Mode (OpenGL)2. Advanced Planning Mode (OpenGL2)Close Synchro Pro
Now go to your NVIDIA Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings under1. Select a program to customise: Click Add and navigate to your Synchro Pro Application (Synchro.exe), mine was located here: C:\Program Files\Synchro Ltd\Synchro\Client2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this programChange the drop down to "High-performance NVIDIA processor"3. Specify the settings for this programThe only thing i changed in here, was to make sure the "OpenGL Rendering GPU" was set to Quadro K5100M and not Auto-Select (Global Settings)
Since doing this, I've yet to have an Application crash, I hope it helps.
