Simple manipulator arrows are not displayed in 3D view. How do you turn the manipulator arrows on?

Select edit -> simple (advanced) manipulator from the menu but the manipulator arrows are not displayed in the 3d view.  How do these arrows get turned on or off?

This could be happening because of one of the following reasons:

    - The issue is just a graphics driver issue. You can go to options > 3D View > Advanced and switch the graphics driver to either Direct X11 or Open GL2 (Direct X11 works better on most machines).

    - The objects you are trying to manipulate are assigned to tasks, so you will have to use 'edit as assigned' rather than 'edit' and define their positions as assigned to different tasks.
You can also choose to un-assign, manipulate, then re-assign.

    - If the objects are assigned to 3D paths, then their position will be dictated by the 3D path and you can't manipulate them using the manipulator.

it depends on the 3d object which you want to edit it

if it's assigned to task so you can not edit , should first unassign it to be able to edit it ans see the manipulator arrows

The arrows will be located at the center of the bounding box of the selected objects, if it is a large bounding box you may need to zoom out to see them. If you have tested the 3 reasons in the answer above,  please send your SP file and a description of the issue (including which 3D objects to select) to
