If you want the Gantt chart to move along with your animation, you can set a Look ahead Task Filter (Navigator>Filters) that will show the current tasks as well as any tasks planned to start within the next x amount of time. For instance if I set a One Week Look ahead on a schedule today, any tasks that are planned, started, or in progress from the Focus Time + x time ahead. Therefore as the Focus Time moves throughout the animation, the Task List will filter accordingly. Make sure this Task Filter is active when you select to Export your AVI.

The Gantt chart scrolls horizontally only in the animation. Using the Look Ahead filter as described above shows only active tasks, potentially reducing the task list so that all tasks can be seen in the vertical space allotted in the AVI (so no vertical scrolling is necessary)
