Synchronise from 3D model without losing assigned tasks

I have a complete 4D model with combined 3D models. (Revit+Civil3D combined in Navisworks and exported with the pug-in) When I try to synchronise my resources I have a ton of options (skip, consolidate, synchronise) per object. I have tried a lot of combinations, but everytime I will lose my assigned resources. What are the best settings for this synchronisation?

    Admin Response

When Synchronizing from an SPX file generated from the Navisworks plugin, these are the settings that will retain all of your assignements of resources to tasks (and update the User Field values)

Skip All except: Resources, 3D Entities, 3D Assignments, User Fields, User Fields values should be set to Integrate

If you are importing the tasks from Navis as well as objects, additionally set Tasks, Links, and Resource Assignments to Integrate:

What version of the navisworks plugin are you using? Try upgrading to the latest version for Synchro PRO 2016. There have been improvements to help with synchronisation

Hi Yorick, Try to create GUID's when you export the SPX and dont forget to save the file after you export the SPX.
