How to add music to an AVI

I want to export an AVI file with a soundtrack but it doesn’t work. I can hear the soundtrack in the Export AVI dialog, but not in the produced video.

Synchro only processes standard Windows 16bit PCM .wav files right now.

You can resave the desired audio from any free sound-editor as Windows 16bit PCM WAV file before using it in Synchro.
For example free open source Audacity editor
Open File and go to File->Export Audio->format WAV(Microsoft)signed 16bit PCM

Or you could always add the audio track in a separate video editor.

    Hi Kate,

I've had success using a separate video editor by Microsoft called "Movie Maker".

    From Synchro...  Export the animation

From Movie Maker...  Import the animation, add desired Music.
