IFC Properties

I am trying to use the "Auto Matching" function on an imported IFC file (which was originally from Revit but ".rvt" file formats are not currently permitted as an import file format). Despite the IFC import setting "Process property of Object Types" set as TRUE, none of the IFC parameters are mapping to separate fields, instead a few core parameters are all being combined together in the "Name" field.

Do I have the correct settings? Is there a fix to this issue?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Tom.

To import all object properties from Revit, use the Synchro Revit plugin, which can be downloaded from our website https://www.synchroltd.com/plugins/

This page also contains a download for a guide to using the Plugin

Thank you for directing me to the Revit plugin. I note that this only allows me access to the UID within the "3D Objects" window but more properties are available within the "Resources" window.

Unfortunately "Auto Matching" only allows information to be compared/used from the "3D Object" window, meaning that only the UID is exposed via the Synchro/Revit plugin.

Am I missing or misinterpreting something?

Automatching allows matching of Resource User Fields to Task properties. These Resource User Fields are available via the Revit plugin

The Revit Plugin should create identical User Fields for Resources as well as 3D Objects

Use the import settings shown below when importing the SPX into the master SP file.
