Is it possible to group and sort in the 3D Objects panel?

I want to be able to change the grouping of my 3D Objects quick and easily based on parameters. It practically is the same idea as grouping and sorting the Ghantt-chart based on activity codes.

    Admin Response

In the 3D Objects table, you may Sort within each tree branch by left clicking in the column header to sort ascending/descending, or by right clicking in the column header and choosing Sort. There is no way to change the grouping, as this tree structure is important for proper synchronisation.

In the Resource table, you can turn off the existing grouping, by right clicking in the column header and choosing View Mode>List. Then you may sort by one or multiple columns using the right click menu> Sort. You may additionally apply column filters (again via the right click menu in the header) to show only resources with a certain parameter value

Thanks for quick reply. Pity that it is not possible to do so. both in 3D Objects as Resources. Your workaround is OK, but not very user friendly though. Maybe something to consider in an update?

We are considering a potential improvement to group and sort the Resource window by any parameter, but this would not be implemented for the 3D table since it could prevent proper synchronisation.

    That would do the trick!
