The path to Primavera P6 Integration API is not correct or the API has been uninstalled from your computer.

I'm trying to import Primavira database to Synchro but it does not work. Can you please advise me? The attached files show the problem

Instead of connecting directly to the P6 Database via the API, you can simply import a P6 XML. Choose File for the Data Source in the Import dialog. This does nor require any set up at all. The XML can be exported from any version of P6. We highly recommend using P6 XML files instead of the API. It is also faster than the API connection.

If for some reason, you prefer to use the API, please download the correct version of the API from our website ( and follow the PDF directions included in the download for correctly setting up the API connection. If you still need help after attempting to follow the directions, please contact

Neither when using the API or XML method will the changes made in P6 be automatically (instantly) updated in Synchro. Using either connection method the process is almost identical: to bring in update from P6, you must go to External Data, select the originally imported schedule and right click to Synchronise From. then when using XML browse for the updated XML file or when using API, select the project to synchronise from, then choose the settings to use for synchronisation.. See the attached Help PDF for complete instructions on how to Synchronise From P6
